I received this from a friend and thought it was really neat. I have never heard this before, but I will begin to watch closely as Easter nears.

Enjoy!

I CAN'T BELIEVE ELLIE'S 5!

Our oldest grand daughter, Ellie, turned 5 on
Feb. 17th and had her birthday on Sunday,
Feb. 21st. Ellie loves horses so Amy made
her a cute horse cake. As tradition has it, each
of the kids get to cut their own birthday cake, so
Ellie did a great job of cutting the cake. Ellie got
an Elsie Dinsmore doll from her mom and dad, so
she got lots of accessories to go with her doll., plus
lots of other fun things.

A DAY WITH NATHAN

Saturday, Feb 20th, we invited Nathan to
spend the day with us as Amy was preparing
for Ellie's birthday party. Paul brought the boys
by and helped Les replace the water line to our
new refrigerator. Caleb and Seth played a few
tunes for us on the piano. They are both doing
great with their piano. It's such a treat to hear the
piano playing again.
Nathan had fun playing with the puzzles, balls,
and White Sox Bear. He would give him kisses
and put the White Sox hat on. Then Nathan
decided he was tired and got the Bears blanket
off the couch and laid down on the floor and
covered up with it.
Later talking to Amy, Amy said just before I called
to ivite Nathan over, Nathan had crawled up by Ellie's
cake and took a big scoop out of it. So I guess that was
good timing having Nathan come over.

SLEEPOVER WITH ISAAC & LEVI

Here's a few pictures from our sleepover with Isaac and
Levi on Feb. 17th. The boys love to play Hide & Seek so we ran
off a lot of energy hiding and seeking!!! Issac's good at counting
to 10, too. "You count to 10, then come and find me."

Isaac's little remote control car was a big hit.
Isaac would push the remote and Levi would run around trying
to catch the car. Levi is quite the little climber too. He found
the light switch so was practicing turning the light off and on.

Books are always a favorite with Isaac at bedtime. He can spend
hours looking at books and plopping them on the floor when he's
done. Then in the morning when Isaac gets up he stands at his door
and knocks til you come and get him! He's learning to tell time,
too. I tell him you can get up when it's 6:30 or 7:00 AM.

Jenny and Dan had an overnight at the old Holiday Inn in Gurnee Februay 17th, so Les and I spent the night with the boys, which we always enjoy. We combined this with a birthday party for Dan and Isaac the next night as they will be in Eau Claire on Isaac's birthday.

Celebrating Dan and Isaac's birthdays!
Happy Birthday, Dan and Isaac!

Presidential Prayer Team

I encourage you to go to the Presidential Prayer Team website to find out how you can pray for our country and gain some insight into our country's heritage, especially on this President's Day, February 15th.
Blessings!

PRESIDENTIAL PRAYER TEAM
WEBSITE: http://presidentialprayerteam.com

If you haven't read our feature on how many individual states have woven God into the preamble of their state's consitution, I encourage you to read it. You can find it on our website.

As I have been traveling this week, the Lord led me to meet two Christian members of the Ohio State Board of Education. They informed me on how aggressively forces in our country are feverishly trying to take God and Christian heritage out of our nation's schools. It is truly frightening. However they also expressed their shock at the complacency of so many Christians to allow this happen.

Please join The Presidential Prayer Team in fighting back and leading the way to protect the truth about the Christian heritage of the American Presidency, and the nation. I ask you to ask your friends, Bible Study friends, and small group members to simply join our team - it's free! Together, with hundreds of thousands of members across our nation, we will lift our President and our nation in prayer every day. We will continue to provide new resources to empower our members with the truth of our Christian foundation as Americans.

PLEASE JOIN US ON PRESIDENT'S DAY

Please join us for President's Day next Monday, February 15. You will find resources to make President's Day special for you and your family. From insights to history to a special prayer, please book your calendar to join us.

JAY TURNS ONE

Mommy and Daddy celebrating your 1st birthday! Jay's Number "1"
Sunday, February 7th, Jay turned one year old! Jay had lots of family and friends to help him celebrate. In fact, I think there was just too much excitement for one day! We love you very much Jay!
Psalm 127: 3 NIV "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children are a reward from Him."

A DAY WITH JAY

It's always a blessing for me to spend time with the grand kids.
Thursday, Feb. 4th I got to spend the day with Jay while Mommy
went to church. We had lots of fun playing with all Jay's toys, but Jay's
favorite toy was Mommy's old cell phone. Jay carried it around every
where he went. Then Jay would put everything in his cozy coop;
then take it out again. No wonder Jay slept so long, after all that
hard work playing. I finally woke Jay up at 11 AM as Carrie had
written me a note to give him a snack at 10:30.
Jay had found the golf balls in a basket in Mommy and Daddy's
room , so he took the golf balls to bed with him. Jay was so cute
sleeping, I couldn't resist taking a picture of him. Thanks, Jay, for a great day!
